Our Story

Herrington Cattle has been family-owned and operated since 1963. Bob Herrington and his sons RT and Charles care for the cattle daily. You will also find the Herrington ladies and grandchildren helping with the daily chores, such as feeding, sorting, or hauling cattle. It is truly a family-run operation.

We have several divisions within Herrington Cattle. Mr. Bob is an Order Buyer. He buys cattle from the markets to fill orders for our clients. We also raise stocker cattle. This process prepares calves to be shipped west to graze on readily available grasses and crops. These cattle are then sold to commercial feed lots. We also have a cow/calf operation. Our amazing momma cows produce fine calves every year. Finally, we offer Farm-to-table beef! These cattle are raised and finished right here on our farm.

We are excited to share with our friends, family, and neighbors fresh, wholesome beef. Herrington Cattle offers beef in whole, half, quarter shares, small packages, and retail cuts. Our cattle are fed a corn-based ration feed to allow for beautiful marbling and flavorful meat.
