About

Founded in 2020, Alice started 'The Mad Batter Cafe & Eatery' in Holly Hill, Fl to share her passion with the world, and to show her daughter that we can pursue what we love. After suffering from the aftermath of Covid in 2022, Alice closed down the restaurant permanently and took a break from the service industry to contemplate what to do next. She changed industries, moved to Deland and started to re-build her own Wonderland. In January 2024 Alice decided to restart the venture to continue showing her daughter that even when we face adversities we can still stand up and push through. She changed the name, logo, and complete aspect of the business. She decided to not reopen a brick and mortar, but instead offer pre-ordered sweets, open stands at local farmers markets, as well as offer some on-line order options..

Alice creates top quality, imaginative and delicious baked treats, and makes sure to cater to the needs of each one of our customers. Whether you’re at a farmers market looking for a quick bite, have a special event or want something to bring home and share, we have it all.
